Metronidazole and drinking 24 hours later

So I wasn't able to find much online other than scare stories about drinking 24 hours after the last dose of Metronidazole so I thought I would leave my experience here I had my last dose of Metronidazole and waited exactly 24 hours till I had a drink I drank 5 pints and 1 half this had no effect on me at all and I did not feel sick in any way so I am guessing it is down to the person and how they react to it I was on 400mg 3 times a day for 7 days I weigh 140lbs which is 10 stones so yeah I have had no bad effects off drinking 24 hours later.
