Muscle Pain During And After Exercise

Symptoms:

  1. Muscle pain starting after about 15 - 20 minutes of exercise (e.g. brisk walk, gentle tennis, rowing with the machine set on level 1 out of 10).
  2. The pain is mild at first and get worse the longer I exercise while muscles tend to tighten up.
  3. Muscles do not seem to adapt. Same type of exercise performed e.g. next week will cause the same symptoms.

The problem started approx. 4 years ago and I am managing by restricting the amount of exercise. Neurologists and muscle specialists were not able to find out what is causing the muscle pain despite numerous tests including screening for muscle wasting diseases.

Would be great to contact others with similar problems in order to find out how they are coping or if there is some sort of help.
