Need Help I am feeling so bad and confused!

Hello everyone. I have been taking citalopram 20 mg for almost 7 months now for GAD and panic desorder. Still not finding calmness.

Psychiatrist is recommending to start Escitalopram on 10 mg, but I am very scared since I have taken citalopram for 7 months which is a long time. The dr said to directly switch to Escitalopram. I am scared of all the side effects that I will have to bear again and also if I will have any drug interaction...please if anyone has any experience I would appreciate if you share.
