Nerve damage or costochondritis

Hi needing some opinions I had gallbladder surgery 8 1/2 months ago and everysince I have has left side armpit that radiates in the left breast pain. sometimes it goes in the right put mostly left. With everything I have been reading it sounds like costochondritis sometimes if I rest my arm against my chest wall it feels weird. I have self examined my breasts and it is all fine . So could it be just the healing internally from surgery or costochondritis or maybe even nerve damage? I have read when they put that gas in you from surgery it can cause costochondritis. I am just ready to be my old self again!
