Nervous about going for another smear test.....cervix couldn't be found last time.

Hello,

So I am 25 and have been summoned for a smear test.

Now, I have had a smear test when I was 20, all was fine, got summoned for one in 2019 and the nurse and then a while later my doctor (2 separate occasions) put me through a very uncomfortable experience and eventually were not able to find my cervix! They said it was due to my height (i'm 6ft) I even got referred to the hospital where the doctor said within a second of the appointment beginning 'what you doing here? you're not of age for smear test yet!' So then a letter was written by the hospital to my doctor to alert them of their foolishness and that was me for another year.

I just don't want to go through all that again. I know I should book it but I keep putting it off because of that experience.

Has anyone else had issues similar?
