New varicose veins 8 months after treatment

Posted , 2 users are following.

hello,

Has anyone had to have follow up treatments after vein ablation and phlebectomy.

soon after my treatment i noticed some new visible veins on my thigh. the dr said they didnt appear varicose, just were visible and probably just due to the change in bloodflow. months later they are much darker and are started to bulge slightly. i am experiencing leg pain and itchiness as well. i am so frustrated about this , both cosmetically and for comfort reasons. i am seeing a new dr in a month to ask what they think. curious other experiences. i know new veins can always develop over time but these seemed like veins that were already faulty at time of procedure if they showed up so quickly.

To lou6934, you may wanna research Sonovein (at Whiteley Clinic), along with PCS Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. Even if you don't have PCS, you should still research Sonovein, since there's zero-invasiveness. I mean, while its true that any frequencies are invasive, still, at least it's only HIFU, and no injections.

I'm in the U.S., and it would be a double miracle if firstly, the FDA would approve it, and secondly if Medicare would cover it. (I want it now, not a zillion years from now!
