Nissen fundoplication - issues

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi

I'm 29 and I had nissen fundoplicstion surgery 2 years ago, following diagnosis of barrets after years of heartburn. So far so good, I haven't had any acid symptoms. The only issues I do get from time to time is serious chest pain. I cant quite work out what it is or why it happens but its in the top of my stomach roughly in the location where the knot is and the pain runs into my chest.

At first I thought this might have been from eating too quick and air but I cant figure out what causes it but its seriously painful and not sure gas / bloating would cause this much pain.

Is this a symptom anyone else has struggled with?
