No injections? Any recommendation on private hospitals in London for operation?

So my mum right now is suffering from bad carpal tunnel in her wrist. This started a few years ago on both wrists, at the time she did an operation on one hand and an injection on the other. The operation on one hand went very well, now the affect of the inject has worn off on the other hand though. She was scheduled for an operation via the NHS in spring but that got cancelled because of the coronavirus, and at the time they refused to give her an injection for the pain because they said they can't due to the coronavirus and that if you have it or get it it makes the symptoms much worse. Does anybody know if that's true? Maybe they're especially weary to give it to her because she's older.

So now we're looking into getting an operation for her booked privately. Even when the NHS was offering operations the wait time was many months (i think the wait for her last operation that was cancelled was 8 months) and she's really looking to get it done sooner. Has anyone had any successful operation in London on carpal tunnel or in general has a private hospital or doctor in london to recommend?
