Noticable forgetfulness/slight pressure in my head

Posted , 2 users are following.

Good morning - in the last few weeks my co-workers & bosses have noticed a spike in forgetfulness with me (leaving for a jobsite without the hardware, paperwork, etc), however it's not so noticable at home. With that, I've noticed slight pressure in my head (no amount of pain reliever seems to ease it). Naturally, this worries me - I don't want to lose my job and I lost my dad to complications of dementia last year.

The first thing you need to do is see a doctor. There can be many reasons for forgetfulness, particularly when it's accompanied by physical symptoms like the feeling of pressure in your head. It can often be due to something simple like stress or anxiety, or a metabolic problem (thyroid etc.) but you can't assume this unless you've been checked by a doctor.

Please go and see your family doctor to start the investigation process rolling. You may well find out there's an innocent cause, which will set your mind at rest.
