Numb big toe

Hi ive noticed over the last couple of months my big toes has become numb. the numbness is effecting the top of the toe and under the toe but not whole toe. its a weird sensation when i took that part of the skin because you cant feel it. i dont want to waste my GPs time so i dont know if i should speak to them about the issue. i do have achilles tendonitis in the same foot bot sure if this is impacting the numbness in my toe
