I had a PSA of 19.6 and the next at almost 30. Rechecked and had 21.9 at a different lab. Ergo the 30 is suspicious. I am going to have an MRI to pinpoint areas of concern. After that I will get yet another PSA test and visit the urologist to review the situation and talk about a biopsy. I am also suspicious that I could have prostatitis. The DRE suggested that my prostate is quite enlarged and I have some low belly pain off and on. Your thoughts and comments please. I am 81. Thank you.

Whatever you do, stick to the one lab for PSA testing as there are different methods of measuring and you want the method to be consistent or you cannot make sense of the results.
