Open wound after Ankle surgery 8 Weeks later..

I had Lateral Ligament and a Calcaneal Osteotomy done at the end of August. when they first took my cast off there was this nasty spot that they said was maybe a fracture blister. there was no Staples or anything on that area.

8 weeks later I still have this wound that won't close. It's deep and I have no idea how they think it's going to close. I am a bit concerned over the sheer size and depth. I have tried collidial silver, different ointments, bandaid hydroseal, ....but I also still wear a boot so I'm thinking it also may be a bit of the reason? I'm just frustrated at this point.
