I had a psa test done it came back 3.5 I'm 52yrs old but now I've got lower back pain (dull) constantly also pain in his hip s but not all the time is this cancer or prositis?

    One PSA result means little.

    You need a history of results to show its trend.

    If I was you I would ask a GP to refer me to a CT lower back and KUB (kidnesy, ureter and bladder)

    If that is inconclusive, you may have a ultrasound,

    The good thing about CT and U/S is that they are cheap, quick, non invasive and very often give an indication if something isn't as it should be.
