Pain after removal of Trapezium

I am regretting having surgery on thumb, I am in so much more pain now than I was prior to having Trapeziectomy with ligament reconstruction, FCR ligament.

Staying so swollen on the top of my hand between the gap of index finger & thumb and wrist hurts, swells and clicks now also. I am 14wks out, 3 months. Also will have a shock sense, nerve shock on base of thumb every now and then. Just returned to work today. Please any ideas??? Dr says give more time but I know something else is going on
