lve been diagnosed with Tn.. Has anyone experienced constant ache 24/7..No shooting pains,just ache in face.. Also seem to be losing hair..hurts opening and closing jaw,mri revealed tmj fine. MRI also said Tn normal ??? Help,lm getting desperate. prescribed carbamazin,pick up tomorrow.

Have things improved now with the tegretol and have you seen a neurologist yet? Also are you a person who grinds their teeth at night or clenches- this can also cause similar symptoms.

Seen neurologist,her words classic of nerve pain.l havent started meds yet as l m not 100 % of diagnosis.. Pain is in jaw area,sports therapist says its muscle related so trying exercises 1st than meds will be last resort..And yes l do clench alot,when stressed jaw and ear will hurt
