Just to add this was from my gp, it is an antibiotic that you apply directly to your skin. I used it throughout my pregnancy also, just wasn't able to breast feed. I have been described as text book pcos so its worth a go.

So far the only thing that has helped mine had been my birth control (I use orthoevra/xulane patch - it's the ONLY birth control I don't get super I'll and throw up with) .. I've tried proactive, Clinique, and several other acne solutions and nothing has helped. I've heard there's an antibiotic type pill dermatologists prescribe, you may want to look into that. Best of luck!!

When I was younger, I was continually prescribed an antibiotic for acne......in time, I discovered that drinking 'lots' of water and minimising my intake of fatty foods, my skin improved immsuarably!
