Period has gone from 4-5 days to 2-3 days

My periods have gone from about 4-5 days to 2-3 days in length each month over the past year or that. They are fairly regular occurring every 25-27days. I have a normal flow for the first 2 days, and then flow seems to ease off to just spotting. Then it stops for a full day or 2, then I start spotting again.

Would anyone know if this would effect fertility and if it means that I'd have less chance of getting pregnant?
