Petit mal mini seizures

Son who is 11 for about 3 yrs has been having as he says I feel funny mummy.and for about 30 seconds just hold my hand.then it goes.gp referred to paeds who did heart tests which were ok.

Was told he'd prob outgrow.

seizures not mentioned bit I'm now thinking this is what it is.

Anyone have any experience of this .am seeing paeds wed.

He does get very difficult to reason with and sometimes has meltdown which I'm wondering if connected to seizure thing.

    Sorry to read this. I wondered why he has not been referred to a neurologist specialising in epilepsy or to a paediatrician. Take care. x
