Planter plate rupture surgery

Hello,

4 days ago i had surgery on my right foot to repair a planter plate tear and hammer toe correction. Yesterday, 3 days after surgery i lost my balance and by instinct came down and caught myself on that foot. i smacked it pretty good, and its been a little more sore because of it. Im really nervous that i may have messed something up. The pin he placed looks ok im just really worried. Has anyone else had this to happen? Was everything ok? I was home alone, I havent even told my husband it happened because he will be upset and worry himself about it. My follow up appointment is monday, should i tell my Dr?
