Possible needle stick injury

hello, I may have been stuck by a needle at clinicals but I am not sure. I showed my instructor and she said I would know if I got stuck by a needle or not and that there would be blood. I had just stuck the patient and let them go then went to clean the chair and when I opened the wet wipes and pulled one out my thumb started to burn, I took the gloves off without looking at them for a tear cause I panicked and I squoze my thumb to death trying to see if there was any blood but none came out and you couldn't see anything in the light offered, when I got home though I put my thumb up on a flashlight and you can see a needle shaped scrape only when pushed into the light I'm really scared but because my instructor didnt see anything the school womt pay for pep and my insurance wont cover it and by now it's too late anyways.. what do you think odds of it actaully being a needle stick injury are if it sidnt draw blood and I only felt something once I picked up the wet wipe..and what are the odds of me getting hiv or hep c from a needle stick injury I'm really scared.
