Post Bilateral CTS Issue

I had my surgery on 12/27/18. Left hand was dx as moderate and the right as severe. After surgery my left hand is perfect 100% but my right hand is worse. My thumb and first 2 fingers are stiff and numb 100% of the time. Pain is continuous. Question is this permanent?

hi there..have you been back to your surgeon or has an ultra sound or MRI?

That might give some good information. Where did you have your surgery done?

First thing you need to know about that is what 'moderate' and 'severe' meant. These words are thrown about without clear meanings much of the time. If you visit my website there are detailed instruction on how to start analysing the problem of unsatisfactory outcomes from surgery. Dr Jeremy D P Bland

It's hard to give a web link on here as the system blocks them. If you google me combined with CTS, and possibly add in the phrase failed carpal tunnel surgery you should find it pretty high up the list . Dr Jeremy D P Bland
