Pots and pregnancy

I was diagnosed with Pots and postural hypertension several years ago and started taking Ivabradine a couple of years ago which has really helped me get back in control of my life and health.

My fiancé and I decided in the last couple of months to start trying to conceive, which has meant that I have had to come off ivabradine (after speaking to my GP) as it isn't safe to take during pregnancy.

Since coming off it, my symptoms have resurfaced which is becoming a bit of a struggle for me. My heart rate is shooting up at the smallest movement and its starting to also affect my sleep.

Has or is anyone else going through something similar and do you have any suggestions on how to improve things or even information on what to expect?

My doctor has very little knowledge on my condition so didn't get a whole lot of help there.

I don't drink or smoke, or have caffeine. I'm doing frequent low intensity exercise, eating small meals often and increasing my salt and water intake.

Just finding it disheartening to be struggling so much so soon.
