Random vomiting, diarrhea, seemingly no pain

Hi,

I am a 32 yr old female, diagnosed with mild Crohn's disease almost 5 years ago. I was told at the time no medication was necessary due to the fact I'd been managing my symptoms for years so I might as well just carry on.

Over the last 6-9 months I have had more frequent bowel problems, loose stools, mucus, blood, more frequent movements, indigestion and acid reflux etc. But put that down to stress/medication for anxiety etc.

However, over the past 6 weeks I have also had 3 bouts of vomiting and diarrhea, seemingly with no particular pain and all about 12 hours or more after food. It seems to start with awful tasting burps and gets worse from there. Symptoms seem to subside fairly quickly (maybe an hour or two) - basically once I have (what feels like) no liquid left in my body. I can only describe it as the same as when you have to drink that nasty drink to empty your entire bowls before a colonoscopy, but with vomiting as well.

I just wondered if this could be related to my Crohn's, whether anyone else has had any similar symptoms, and/or what they have done about it.

Not knowing the cause is driving me crazy at the moment, so any help from anyone would be great!

Thanks,
