this came as a shock. 57 years old male. runner for 20 years and healthy and active. the pain and stiffness in the morning that lasts 5 hours or more before prednisone kicks in has me in tears sometimes. They work but not like I hear on some sites such as 45 min and then they go out for a walk or whatever. I have pain in shoulders and arms especially but also in back of knees, wrists and hands , groin and hips. Is this normal? never heard of this condition before and so fed up with being in pain and discomfort. not sure what I am asking, just wanted to share but please if any advice as my doctor seems a bit confused with it all
