Reoccurring Thrush/vaginal infections for 4 years

Hi I'm Emma. I have had ongoing thrush/ vaginal infections for the past 4 years and I just can't seem to get rid of them. They can be very painful and it's at its worst after having sex or the day after drinking alcohol. I'm at point where I can't handle it anymore and thinking I need to see a specialist rather than a normal doctor. Does anyone have any advice at all? I already take probiotics, oregano oil tablets, cranberry tablets and regular BV treatment cream but nothing has completely cured whatever this is!! I'm getting to a point where I'm so miserable and can't even have sex without horrible symptoms the day after sad please help if you have any advice at all!!

You need to do labs to know what you have : yeast or BV ? With BV you Usually have a fishy order and with yeast you have thick white like cottage cheese discharge

Hi Emma I managed to get rid of my chronic bv through a change of diet and probiotics for 3 months. Look through my old posts for more info on that. it is totally possible to get rid of this, you just have to figure out what your body needs in order to heal. Diet in my opinion is a great place to start. Adds lots of nutrients and eliminates many toxins.

    Good luck Emma
