Right nasal enlarged turbinates. Possibly from deviated septum

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hi everyone, new here.

I was wondering if i could please get some insight as to what could be causing my issue.

I have a problem with my right nasal area, where it's hard to breathe, swelling, right eye pain, headaches, post nasal drip and more.

Had a 3t cat scan of my sinuses and it showed how my septum is asymmetrical and my airway in the right sinus is very minimal because of how swollen the tissue is in there.

The E.N.T Specialist i'm seeing would like to operate but before doing so wants to eliminate any possibility of there being any allergies. So at the moment i'm trying to track down an allergist in the meantime.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I have attached the scan image

Seems like your turbinate is swollen on the right side.
