Rivaroxaban - side effects

Back in October I changed medication from Warfrin to Rivaroxaban, along with the weather getting colder (same every year) were the only changes. My hands gradually got more painful, my grip strength has decreased, when i wake in the morning it takes 15 minutes for my hands to free up. Could the Rivaroxaban have caused this. I have recently been changed to Apixaban but my hands are still bad. Any advice, ideas would be appreciated, Many Thanks
