Scheduled for gallbladder surgery would appreciate advice!

Hi there,

I had an appointment with upper GI today and have now been scheduled for surgery as i have the dreaded gallstones. Obviously i dont have a date yet but id like to hear peoples stories, get as much advice as possible as the specialist was totally unhelpful, all he told me was its day surgery and that i "probably wont" have diarrhoea!!!

I have heard so many horror stories about people not being able to eat properly after and having diarrhoea constantly, im terrified 😦
