Severe insomnia, 4 months after stopping pregablin. Help!.

I took 100mg daily (am and pm), for,

4 months for severe pain down my arm, and hand from trapped nerves in

my cervical spine.

Whilst on the drug I felt hungover all the time, couldnt walk a straight line,

my balance was terrible and my head felt so weird, I was thinking I was

developing dementia. Plus daily headaches. I reduced the dose over 2 weeks to 25mg, then after a week on that I stopped altogether. Since coming off Pregablin 4months ago, I have had the worst insomnia imaginable. Has anyone had this happen to them, and how long does it last. I would welcome any advice.
