Thank you for reading.

So I'm 60 years old a came down with Shingles virus around 12/15/23. Minimal rashes and and spots.

But had nerve fibers damage right below my rib cage, on left side, stomach abdomen area. Pain was so bad

had to go to emergency room and was subscribed OXY pain killers and ACY to clear up the infection from spreading. ACY did help clear up the rashes with in 4 weeks. So my nerve pain was still there. Went to a

pain specialist and DOC gave me pre-gablin 75 milligrams and a cortisone shot. Helped some but not a cure. Now around 6 weeks later 1/24/24 still experiencing lite burning and stomach muscle tightness in the area where the rash was. I'm able to sleep better a night and riding my bicycle. Taking Vitamin B-12 and 5,000 milligrams of Vitamin C a day and drinking plenty of water. Talked to friends of friends who have had nerve damage from shingles and said could take 3 months or longer to feel better or normal again. Do i have hope? Anyone experience something similar? Any recommendations? Thank you, Brian
