Should you walk through the pain of Osteoarthiritus?

Posted , 1 user is following.

I'm a 47yr old female with a hip labral tear and cam lesion and also osteoarthritus in knees and other joints, I can walk for 7-8 miles relatively pain-free, beyond this I either get Hip or knee pain which can last for another 24 hours. I do enjoy the longer walks as part of a social ramblers group. The question is should i walk through the pain? or stop at 8 miles? am i making the arthritus worse by walking through the pain?
