Sjogren's syndrome and mixed connective tissue disease

hi

I'm diagnosed with these 2 autoimmune disease and my doctor has prescribed me with plaquinil.

I have read on it's side effects and I'm scared to take it.

and I read on the Internet that if one cut off dairy products, fried foods and other unhealthy snacks the disease go to remission.

thus one should follow a strict diet.

can someone here help and advise me?

I'm 24 years old.
