Slow transit constipation

wondered if anyone has any advice please ive been diagnosed with slow transit constipation and i take 5 bisocodyl and 1 linoclotide daily my life recolves around this and im at my wits ends as there is nothing they can do this hapeened 6 years ago when i had a hysterectomy and ive taken meds since they now say i can have a procedure done every time i pass a motion irrigation at home which i do myself im worried about the side effects especially after reading about a perforated bowel as coyld be life threatening im 56 has anyone gone down this route i really need advice thank you
