Spider bite or ringworm?

Hi,

I have a bullseye ring on my ankle which started out as what I thought was just a bugbite which was just itchy and the usual lump shape. It's not turned into a ring like rash with lots of bumps and very itchy. I've seen a gp and he seems to think it's a bite from a spider and have me some steriod cream but it isn't helping. At first I thought it was ringworm as I train jiu jitsu but have never came across this rash before. I have just got a new dog also which I take for walks around grassy and beach areas. image

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
