Still feel bad 4 days after neck adjustment

I did my neck in in September and due to being housebound I didn't do anything about it until I finally had enough last week and paid out for a home visit from an osteopath 4 days ago.

He did a neck adjustment and since then all the worst symptoms have flared up, it feels very sore and I am constantly dizzy/light headed. He is coming back to check on me soon but I am freaking out. Can you really get symptoms for so many days afterwards?
