Sulfasalazine side effects

hi, I'm a 53 year old male, and recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. its quite low grade currently, and really bot noticeable. (i had some wrist inflammation that eventually lead to the diagnosis).

I'm on a weekly increasing dose of Sulfasalazine 500mg. I'm on week 3, where I'm taking 3 a day and starting to feel really lousy. low grade fever, headaches, aching all over in joints and muscles, feeling really run down.

is this normal? will it pass? I'm on 4 a day next week 😦

not had the blood tests back from week 1, and no urine testing. is this also normal?
