Surgery on pilondial cyst 12 weeks ago still small hole to close on wound

i had surgery 12 weeks ago on a pilondial cyst and still a very small hole left to heal over which bleeds occasionally. went to my doctor and was prescribed co amoxiclav and fucidin cream for the wound. since using the fucidin cream the wound seems to have swollen and is a bit red. I wash the area daily and cover with a plaster. is it normal for fucidin cream to make it swell? feels like a very small pea type swelling. thanks.
