thoughts about occasional drinking

I was struck down 12 months ago very very suddenly no warning signs apart from a pain in my shoulder for a few days feeling like indigestion, or trapped wind, anyway it was diagnosed as pancreatitis and a psudo cyst in  my pancreas, no obvious reasons, apart from maybe related to polycystic kidneys,  it took 6 months and 3 admissions to hospital then a stent in my pancreas, now sorted, am i able to have the odd drink now not touched a drop since last July

my husband had a bad case of pancreatitis and a pseudo cyst on pancreas.  The doctors all told him no more alcohol EVER unless he wanted to come back to the hospital again with another attack.  I think the answer is no more drinking ever unfortunately. Perhaps some others can give you their input.  Good luck and God bless

Stay away from the alcohol at all costs.  Your pancreas is already compromised and you do not need that additional pain.  My prayers for you.  Take care.
