Thyroid nodule ultrasound

Hi, I'm trying to find someone who may had a similar experience. I have multiple nodules throughout my thyroid. Right side has about 4 or 5. Left side has only one. All are over 2 cm big. The one on the left is 3.8cm big. A year ago the nodule on the left was full of fluid and i had it drained by my endocrinologist. It was causing me a lot of discomfort. Fast forward to a week ago, i went back to my endocrinologist for discomfort that has started again and he suggested i redo the ultrasound to see if anything has changed. Ultrasound results show right side of thyroid is pretty much the same, but left nodule is "much more solid" and should be rebiopsy. Has anyone experienced something like this where there is now tissue where the fluid was? Nurse told me that maybe the tissue was always there but was masked by the fluid.

Any and all help is very much appreciated.

thanks!
