Tingling sensation under the ribs and back

Hello!

Apologies if this is not the right forum to ask this, I just have no other idea where to post this.

So for a couple of weeks I've started noticing a tingling sensation in my back, near the spine and lungs. No pain, no trouble breathing, no coughing, just a very annoying tingling sensation that comes and goes. I've also noticed that I feel this under my ribs too only when I lay down in bed, especially when I lay on my left side. It's like a small portion under my ribs is falling asleep. Again, 0 pain, i can inhale no problem, it's just that tingling sensation.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Everything I've read about also said stuff about pain, but for me nothing hurts. I am on the heavier side (not obese, but a bit chubby) and I do smoke, if this helps. Thank you!
