Vaginal discomfort

Hi all. I just got over a series of horrible infections. i had a BAD case of bacterial vaginosis and the antibiotics they gave me for it caused a yeast infection. i’ve had terrible problems with recurrent yeast infections in the past but I’ve never been in so much pain for so long.

I saw my doctor a week and a half ago and he said the infection is cleared up but I still have a little redness and a lot of irritation around my clitoris. I thought it was better but sex has brought the discomfort back. The doctor thinks my skin is just dry and irritated but I’m just so freaking sore! Has anyone else experienced this?
