Vein injection query.

Hi..what happens to the foam / sclerosing agent after injection?....can it travel to other parts of the body...say , the lungs? thanks

    It is basically saline, so it is just eliminated by the body. Had my legs done several years ago with no ill effects.

      Thanks....the injection puts a sclerosing agent to cause clotting of the blood / damages the vein so that the vessel seals off.....does this not travel any further?

      From what my doctor told me the residual liquid is just eliminated from the body.
