How long does most vertigo last for everyone? I had an attack this week and I feel bad for hours. As what happens every time. The Epley helped, then I slept for 3 hours. I usually feel off the next day too. Still no ah ha moment as to food or activity.

The duration of the vertigo is different depending on the cause.  Some last seconds to a few minutes, such as with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, others last up to a day like in Meniere's disease.

Mine always lasts for hours. This last one is the first time I didn't vomit. I took my anti nausea med right away and it helped. The diazyde and new thyroid medication has helped the constant floating feeling I had most days.

I have been on betahistine 48mg x 3 times a day and have no vertigo attacks since April 2015. Still get aural fullness, tinnitus, and some dizziness along with deafness in right ear. My attacks would last 3-5 hrs usually in evening. Next day was left feeling dizzy and stay in bed, day 2 could get up but still not feel right, day 3 could go outside and start to do normal stuff again.
