Waves of back flank pain - feels like anxiety?

Posted , 2 users are following.

for the last 2 weeks I've been experiencing progressively worse and more frequent waves of dull pain in my back/ flank. the pains mainly in the right side but occassionally on the left and very occassionally I feel it all over my torso. I've never had this before and it's concerning me.

I do have anxiety and liken the pain to deep stomach butterflies on overdrive. I am also quite stressed with work at the moment but I don't think this experience is anxiety related.

I have noticed a change in the colour of my urine to tea/ light brown but thought that was because I've recently changed to a healthier diet. other than that I have no other symptoms.

Anxiety? or worth a trip to the doctor?

thank you

Definitely go to your doctor. With those symptoms you may have a kidney infection. Take a pee sample with you for dip testing.
