Weird head pressure, head pain and neck stiffness for over a year.

Started over a year ago with head pressure in back of head and upper neck causing nausea and dizziness. The symptoms also come with neck soreness and stiffness. Sometime it's a burning pain up the neck to where it connects to brain and radiates to forhead. It's so miserable. I have had sinus ct scans, Mri, mra, and tons of blood work and can't find nothing. The weirdest symptom I get and want to find someone with insight on is that during this my top of head and neck get ice cold to touch. Please help please.

I have chronic tension headaches, very similar although I cant really feel hot/ cold ness of things with my hands and don't recall the ice cold. Have you discussed cth with your GP? The headaches are caused from tension in the muscles from your neck to around your skull. Worth chatting to your GP about, he or she might be able to advice you on some anti stress techs or meds, good luck, Nick.

Lol I'm nearly the same age. You can get the info for cth from here, write it down and the site where you got info from. Don't fret about your Dr. I was forever saying sorry walking in there. But in my opinion we got to find out what's wrong in order to fix it. Try to relax, I know it's not easy but try, the more relaxed the less tense you are, easier said than done I know. Give the info to your doc, show him see what he thinks, at least he'll know you're trying, chin up, Nick.

Nick ,that's what I do ,sometimes it's telling your Dr where to look for your answer, end of day ,they're not specialist just general ,hence why they're called General practices .they can only do so much ,even though you give them clues ,sometimes like us they're just as stumped to coming up with correct diagnosis .

Hooray! Finally found a kindered spirit! Marlene lol you just made my day. My gps really good actually, found somebody at last. But you're also right even though a few gps mix up general practioning with a specialist area these days, the knowledge they have isn't limitless. Sometimes it helps to help yourself, hoping you have a great day, Nick.

Nick ,think we rely heavily on drs ,due to they're knowledge to anatomy ,even consultants are stumped at getting diagnosis correct ,and they've made it to they're status in medical field ,we're all human end of the day .

Like yourself i to have a couple of fine drs at my practise ,they do ask where I think they should look ,who knows your body better than you do ,I tend to favour only females for any women issues ,same should apply to men ,just go see a male Dr for men's issues ,as they've got all your anatomy ,same as for females and women drs ..That's my all round thinking to drs .

think if one has few med probs going on ,this is where things can get you into overload trying to sorting each issue out .Years ago drs didn't like to be told they're job ,but that's changed today. Drs welcome I think a patient saying can you look in this area of whatever ,if not tried before .those are my kind of drs ,listening to that patient .

Hope your having good day to .
