What does 5 months post ORIF feel like?

Hi everyone,

Been 5 months since I had a trimalleolar fracture surgery and my ankle still feels weird. currently experiencing some numbness on my foot and fourth toe with pain and stiffness around my posterior tibial tendon. My talus feels stiff hence poor dorsiflexion and my ankle is weak especially when I just get out of bed or seated down for long. I also experience swelling when I walk.

Does anyone experience this as well? If yes, please how do you deal with it?

Does one completely heal from trimalleolar fractures and how long does it take?

Also have issues with my balance and can't run or jump yet.
