Will I lose my UK gun license if I start on Antidepressants??

Hi,

Ive suffered with depression for the past 5 years and i want to seek help. Ive heard around the shooting community that if i get help through the doctors and get put onto antidepressants, that i will loose my shooting license. This has been the reason that i haven't gotten help sooner. I don't want to loose my gun license as that is one of the things that helps with my low mood and it is a big family thing we like to do. I do not feel as i want to harm myself so i don't see how it would be an issue regarding my license.

Any advise on what will happen would be so helpful,
