In my opinion, based on personal experience, I would never recommend using Omeperazole, and DEFINITELY  not for longer than 14 days.  This is a drug that's almost impossible to discontinue and the rebound effect is as bad, if not worse than the condition that caused you to use it in the first place.  There are many reasons people suffer from acid reflux and esophogeal problems; some of them related to food, alcohol or smoking and others of a medical condution.  Please see physician to try and determine the root cause of your acid reflux and make lifestyle changes where you can!

Try raising the back of your bed with bricks rather than it being flat
