All over body aches and pains

My 54 year old husband is suffering from all over body pain, he gets muscle cramps in his legs that go into his chest, when he walks, body trembles, been to neurologist, rheumatologist, spine doctor, primary care physician. Been suffering for over 3 years cant get a straight answer from anyone, and pain management wont help him. All blood tests come back normal, had ct scan, mri but they come back normal. PLEASE HELP! He cries in pain, and nobody knows what is wrong with him. He cant sleep, been told he has fibromyalgia, but come on, nothing to help with pain.

    I am so sorry to hear about your husband.

    The best person to help with pain is your consultant or your Dr.

    The consultant has more powers.

    Tell your consultant how much pain he is in how it affects his life, I suffer alot with pain so ai know how he feels. It can lead to depression with the frustration

      According to the doctor he has had blood tests for everything. He has had mris, ct scans, xrays and everything

      So your husband has probably been tested for rhumatoid arthritis which is extremely painful also type 2 diabetes. When there is not enough insulin to take glucose to the muscles this results in very bad pain in all the muscles of the body. So if he has been tested for RA and T2D they can be ruled out.

      Obviously where there is pain something is going on within the body....i would most certainly check if your hubby has been tested

      for RA and T2D....best wishes for a dpeedy diagnosis...

      This needs looking into because pain is your bodies way of saying somethings not rite I'm in pain every day too with my head and neck and keep being passed around like a parcel I've had ct scan mri scans nerve conduction tests lumbar puncture physio a waste of time has only given exercises pain management a last resort but it's not a cure there is also a programe for people suffering long term chronic pain I've also seen 2 neirologists now been diagnosed with migraine by one and neurological functional dissorder by another that is complete rubbish I've lost some use in my right hand pincer grip is real bad I've got a dragging right foot how can this be in my head phew could write a book with all this crap

      He has a pain management doctor, but all he gives him is suboxone film, it is not working. If you don't mind me asking, what pain medicine are you on? The doctors just don't listen when I explain he doesn't move, just lays down CRYING in pain. Its really hard to watch him cry.

      They said he has arthritis in the hips, he also has 4 herniated discs in the neck, but pain management won't give him anything except suboxone. And that is just not working for him.

      I take tramadol naproxen co codomol is good for pain but it makes me sick I've tried gabapentin and diclafenic ibuprofen the list is endless I've had 2 caudal epidurals one worked the other didn't and I've got a tens machine and magnetic belt also

      They can give morphine patches and oramorph but only has a last resort

      He used to be on oxycontin, but then he got custody of his 2 children, and he wanted to get off the oxycontin, so pain management put him on suboxone, and now won't give anything else.

    hi there... i totally understand where he is at... i myself suffered terribly until i found molecular hydrogen... i still have to take codeine (tried coming off it recently but it stops unexplained pain) and i take tramadol daily but my fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue are now gone!  he could have auto immune which is just affecting the whole body - i've suffered 21yrs looking for answers and now at least i'm living a full life - i truly wish you all the best, pain and suffering is no way to live and i thought of ending my life many times!  i have resigned myself to the pain meds i'm on although it worries me as to why the damn pain is there in the first place but in this chemical world our poor bodies are just not coping - look into molecular hydrogen by a company called sevenpoint2, there are a couple of people in the UK with it smile
