Yes I got my cough back on methotrexate 20mg 10 in each leg once a week. The treatment that has help is the inhalers. I am now on Remicad every 2 weeks IVS. We are praying this works for the relief of this awful disease. I have had this for 15 months and a 56 year old white male.

Yes the inhalers help. In Australia I use Ventolin it might have a different name in your part of the world. Ask your family doctor or specialist which ever one you will see first. Happy new year to you.

My husband has a cough every now and then. He has now decided to go on Hospice. He feels it's the best decision for him.

I still had a persistent cough. But on Dec 28th had a CT Scan and all sarcoidosis is gone in my lungs. The doctor is keeping me at 12.5 mg of Methotrexate for the next six months and then is going to wean me off. Like I said still coughing. Then looked closer into a couple of other mess I take and one has a side effect of coughing. Talked to GP to see about stopping it and I have. Have already noticed that my coughing is going away.

Thanks. My Pulmonoligist told me that sarcoidosis can run one of three ways. One, it's just a flare up treat it and it goes away. Two, it will flare up from time to time and treat it with med till it goes away. Or third, where it is chronic and has to be treated pretty much for life! I'm praying it's a one time ordeal and I never have this again.
